Originally licensed in Washington State, David now holds licenses in North Carolina and Louisiana and is admitted to the United States Tax Court, the Fourth and Fifth Circuit Courts of Appeal, and the Eastern and Middle Districts of North Carolina. David earned his Juris Doctor from Seattle School of Law in 1986, as well as an LL.M. in Taxation from Georgetown School of Law with honors in 2001. David’s undergraduate is in Chemistry at Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi. His career experience includes international tax consultation for Ernst & Young, and earlier as a chemist and partner in a private oil and natural gas production business.
